Insgesamt nahmen 75 Stationen aus sieben europäischen Ländern teil, darunter 42 Schulstationen. Aktive Schulstationen kamen beispielsweise aus Frankreich, Portugal, Bulgarien und Rumänien.
Wir, die Schulstation DK0LG des Liborius-Gymnasiums, können aus schulorganisatorischen Gründen leider erst ab 14:30 Uhr am Wettbewerb teilnehmen. Umso erfreulicher sind die Ergebnisse, die wir in diesem Jahr erzielen konnten:
In der Kategorie UHF/VHF erreichten wir unter der Betreuung von Frau Home mit dem Ausbildungsrufzeichen DN8ECC einen hervorragenden 1. Platz. Mit insgesamt 26.628 Kilometern lagen wir deutlich vor dem zweitplatzierten Colégio do Castanheiro von den Azoren.
Auch in der stark besetzten Kategorie SHF/Satellit konnten wir überzeugen und belegten mit 116.622 Kilometern einen hervorragenden 5. Platz. Hierfür nutzten wir unser Stationsrufzeichen DK0LG/T.
Nicht zuletzt dürfen wir auch auf den 4. Platz in der Kategorie HF (Kurzwelle) stolz sein. Trotz schwieriger Ausbreitungsbedingungen gelang es uns, beeindruckende 251.365 Kilometer zu überbrücken.

Selbstverständlich sind wir auch im nächsten Jahr wieder dabei. Dann feiern wir bereits unsere 20. Teilnahme – 20 Jahre Europatag, Amateurfunk und internationale Freundschaft.

Results of the 27th European School Stations Day Contest
The European School Stations Day, held annually on 5 May from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., is a fixed date in the calendar of our amateur radio station DK0LG. We were therefore eagerly awaiting the publication of this year's contest results. The aim of the competition is to cover as many kilometres as possible through radio contacts within Europe. However, beyond the competitive aspect, the event is above all about fostering friendship and cooperation between school stations across Europe.
A total of 75 stations from seven European countries took part, including 42 school stations. Active school stations participated from countries such as France, Portugal, Bulgaria and Romania.
As the school station of Liborius-Gymnasium, DK0LG can unfortunately only join the contest from 2:30 p.m. onwards due to organisational constraints within the school schedule. This makes the results we achieved this year even more satisfying:
In the UHF/VHF category, operating under the training callsign DN8ECC and supervised by Mrs Home, we achieved an excellent 1st place. With a total distance of 26,628 kilometres, we finished well ahead of the second-placed Colégio do Castanheiro from the Azores.
We also performed strongly in the highly competitive SHF/Satellite category, securing an excellent 5th place with 116,622 kilometres. For these contacts, we operated using our station callsign DK0LG/T.
We are equally proud of our 4th place in the HF (shortwave) category. Despite challenging propagation conditions, we successfully covered an impressive distance of 251,365 kilometres.
An excerpt from the results tables can be found below this article. Once again, participating in the European School Stations Day was a great experience and a lot of fun. Our sincere thanks go to all the students who contributed to this success through their enthusiasm and commitment.
Of course, we will be taking part again next year. It will mark our 20th participation – 20 years of European School Stations Day, amateur radio, and international friendship.
